About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel South America - Learn Spanish meet the Locals

ABOUT ME

After becoming bored with work and the cold of London I have decided to travel Central / South America. I have wanted to learn Spanish for a while and want to experience the cultures and people fully. I am inquisitive and always want to learn, be it history, language, culture, food or drink. I am easy going, very chilled out and enjoy a party.....

PHILOSOPHY

How can you have an opinion on something until you have tried it??? The more people you meet the broader your life will be.....If you read a thousand books you can live a thousand lives

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couchsurfing but have many friends who surf and/or host. All have had great experiences and stories. I have met loads of great people through my friends and want to begin the experience myself. When I get home my couch will be open

Interests

I love the sun.....I like football, I enjoy a drink. Surprisingly I combine these with a love of learning and I read voraciously. I like to see culture and history and want to experience these in South America from the inside

Music, Movies, and Books

The Count of Monte Cristo, Salman Rushdie, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Don Quixote, Dostoyevsky. Gangster Flicks. Music, if it is produced there and then I usually enjoy it, be it Jazz, Rock or even Trance....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw the sunrise over Masada, a desert fortress near the Dead Sea, a painful hike but when the sun came up over the horizon I was energised enough to then complete the run down the Snake Path.
