About Me
Hi all!
Currently pursuing a masters degree in University of Sussex, but previously lived in China for 14 years and Japan for 8 years.
I'm an outgoing person who likes to chat about traveling and films and retirement dreams (mine is to run a hostel with big Japanese bathtubs).
Thanks to my mom, I grew up being told to be tidy and organized, so whoever is gonna host me doesn't have to worry about that! XD
I have travelled a lot during my undergrad time.
Sightseeing is fun, but I enjoy hanging out with locals the most! (Most of my crazy traveling stories are with people I met in the area!)
Right now I visit places where film festival happens...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's kinda thrilling to meet people from online and you actually stay with them.
There's always something unexpected, both in good and bad ways.
But I guess couchsurfing is a nice way to meet others and discover the world together.
Surely not into hooking up stuff, but meeting new friends? Yes!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh I listen to random music from K-pop to trendy R&B or even traditional moroccan instrumental music...
And books? Sorry I can't even finish my readings from university! (But I like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah very much)
Movies... it's just so many! I watch cheasy films like How to be single or Holidays, bloody Tarantino's films, suspense Korean or Hong Kong films and some documentaries. And I'm a big Narcos fan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing but also challenging things was living in Mozambique without knowing how to speak Portuguese!
I still remember the struggle in cellphone store, trying to understand how to buy a sim and how to deposit credits in it. I even couldn't say 200...
But I also enjoyed the language barrier as a person who studies communication. Language is amazing...
Teach, Learn, Share
Language, life stories, foods!
I can teach you my mom's secret dumpling recipe, or how to tell Japanese/ Chinese/ Kantonese/ Korean by their appearance!
