Im from Japan but I’m currently a graduate student in Denmark.
I have Lived in Malawi for volunteer program for 2 years, and in the US for 6 months in the past.
Previous work: GIS engineer, disaster risk reduction consultant, structure from motion.
Worked as a helper for a person with physical disability time to time.

Looking forward to meeting nice & calmed &easy going people through Couchsurfing!

*Please don’t get mad at me though I usually reply in a last minute (I like to have my schedules flexible!)
*And honestly, I’m sick of receiving the obvious copied and pasted messages everyday.
Thanks in advance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a chance to be hosted when I traveled Busan in Korea and it was great experience to meet kind people. At that time I wondered why people welcome strangers for free but I got the answer through hosting many guests when I was in Lilongwe, Malawi. Talking with travelers who have opened mind is nothing more than fun. Looking for the chances exploring the world through people and sharing different opinions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had some meals picked up from garbage heaps with people live there in Malawi . They looked happy to share their limited foods. I couldn't do anything for them but I think I maintained their dignities at least.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some home-style Japanese foods :) (If you have soy sauce)
