Took time off to go traveling in Ukraine and Croatia in July!

ABOUT ME

I'm a young enthusiastic good humored guy who loves to travel, rock climb, ski, go camping, and generally see the world! I work in an industrial environment and have worked in a gemological laboratory. Having a great appreciation for nature's beauty makes me always want to see new places and try new things. Having been to many places I have many stories to tell over a good beer, but still have quite a few more locations in mind of where I want to go. I speak fluent English, Russian, and a little French. I enjoy good company and think that a big part of ones travel experience is the people they meet along the way.

I enjoy a well made movie whether it's mainstream or an independent film.
Currently reading a book by Lisa Randall about the LHC in Switzerland/France.
Listen to a variety of different music. Rock, techno, trance, dubstep, reggaeton...anything that has an interesting melody or a catchy bass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood on top of an active volcano.
Experienced some of the best powder snow in the world while cat skiing in the Selkirk mountains:)
Camped on top of a waterfall.
Went to Shambahla in 2011.
Found some of the most beautiful spots to visit in the Kootenay mountains.

At the same time something as simple as seeing the sunrise, fixing my car, petting a dog, or standing on top of an amazing view can be just as amazing given the right circumstances.
