I come from a small town between Leuven and Brussels, studied in the beautiful city of Leuven and still live there. I work in Brussels and I love both. Although I have never lived abroad and lived all my life in the same 30 kilometer area, I am not the typical Belgian girl. After all, I work in the cultural field ;-)
I am very open and enthusiastic, sometimes a bit crazy! I love to travel and meet new people. I value being open and honest.

Interests

I studied architecture, history and cultural studies. I can enjoy staying at home and watch tv or read a book or cook a nice meal just as much as I enjoy going out with friends or going to festivals. I prefer a mix of both!

My favorite place is at the beach. I love to swim or be on a boat.

I worked for a street theatre festival before, an amazing experience!

I am a bit a Chameleon.

Books: Stories with a historical background or fantasy. I hate detectives.
Favorite writers: Isabel Allende, Mario Vargas Llosa, Niccolo Ammaniti, Kader Abdolah, Ernest Hemingway, JRR Tolkien, ...

Music: I listen to all kinds of music but I would pay to go see concerts of U2, Novastar, K's Choice, Artic Monkeys,..

Movies: Old movies since I work at the Filmarchive (Casablanca!), Spanish movies (Almodovar), very girly movies (Dirty dancing and the notebook) to not girly movies at all (Star Wars, X-men, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, ..)
I love series too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim with dolphins in the Red sea, Egypt and in the Florida Keys. Flying over Monument Valley, USA. Starting to learn how to play piano at age 29!
