ABOUT ME

I grew up in central Ohio, only a few miles from where I was born, and up until this point I've not had much outside travel- YET. At this moment I'm studying abroad in Warsaw, and this week I'll be making my way to Berlin on a road bike I bought during my stay. That's why I got on this site...

At home, I'm trying to finish up my undergrad so I can move on, and I'm pretty busy all the time. I cycle as much as possible, to work and school and all around. I climb as much as I can too, and play basketball and run less than I would like. I play my drumset in the sparing moments and on days off, and record this or that, or try to cover songs I like, both on drums and voice and maybe bass guitar.

I study sociology formally, but consider myself a student of philosophy primarily...I love animals (that are cool)...

PHILOSOPHY

re: The Blind Men and The Elephant

Truth is not subjective, nor especially exclusive. Contradictory truths persist in the reality which is Change, and thus truth is expressed through subjective multiplicity. There exists a bit of truth in all things, all people, all ideas, and this is God to me. There is not a difference between transcendence and immanance, they are Yin and Yang.

Free will is not given, it is realized through self-actualization and the dispensation of ego.
