**PLEASE NOTE**
I require that all potential surfers email me AT LEAST one week in advance, preferably two. I cannot host you if you email me one or two days before you arrive. I get lots of requests so if you did not take the time to read this message, you will not get a response.
I also will not accept your request if all it consists of is "just need a place to crash." Please be respectful and understanding of this, thank you!

I'm a cheerful lady with a strong enthusiasm for geology, oceanography, and other natural sciences. I am happiest outdoors and spent lots of time road trippin', hiking, biking, camping, swimming, and adventuring with my hound dog, Seamus.

PHILOSOPHY

You create your own reality, your own luck, your own circumstances. You are responsible for your own happiness and it is important to keep sight of that. If you want something, go out and get it - let nothing stand in your way. You will not know what you are truly made of until you get out there and put yourself in unfamiliar situations. So get out there and do your thing, whatever it may be!

Hosting folks whenever I can, meeting up with them if I can't, offering suggestions, directions, etc., not to mention sharing this website with people who don't already know about it! This is a wonderful community and I'm eager to share it and strengthen it in any way I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely awesome! Everyone I've hosted has been wonderful, sweet, hilarious, gracious, and full of interesting stories. Everyone I've surfed with has been just amazing and so so generous and understanding and fun. I'm a changed woman.
