ABOUT ME

Born in small city in Czech republic in the iron curtain age. Everything has been grey and everyone's been grey... My parents were unable to travel, and if they could it was just countries of eastern block.
So I'm happy to live in a democracy which (among other things) makes me possible to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

When I will get old and start to balance, I'd like to say "this was good life, I've seen lot of interesting things and make a lot of people happy".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel that I own CS community a lot!
Every each person who hosted us has been nice and friendly.
And besides, it is really nice to meet somebody from CS and have a chance to show him/her a bit of your city.

I'm also working on short video footage about CS, filming and photographing all guests who visited us and planning to make a CS video ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At first, it seemed bit odd to us to meet some stranger in his/her home. But I was lucky finding the most hospitable and friendly host for the first try (thanks again, Sharon!). And also one of the best and most interesting characters we ever met (greetings to Roxanne). And people like those just opened my eyes...
Now I feel the CS community as a big family! It is great to meet people all over the world, show them a bit of the city where we live or to visit somebody and check how people live in other places.

I also started paragliding in 2015 and so far it is like miracle so I plan to continue with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

love JRR Tolkien.... soooo imaginative!
...and love James Clavell - his books inspired me to travel to China.
And a lot of other books, of couse.
I prefer good "classics" movies like Butch Cassidy nad Sundance Kid or Close encounters of third kind rather than modern blockbusters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Sun eclipse in Hungary, piloting UL plane over Brno, smell the odour of HongKong first time....

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be happy to teach photography. Its a great way how to perceive things around much, much better.

I'd like to learn cooking better, especially some exotic recipes.
