ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm friendly and kind of boisterous when I'm excited. I'm opinionated, but generally polite about it, and I'm open to a lot of new things. My mother tells me that I'm so laid-back I'm practically horizontal, and my housemate reckons I've got an insatiable need to travel. I can live with that!

I've been surfing for a while and nearly all my experiences have been good! I've met so many amazing people and I'm so grateful to them all :)

Centres d'intérêt

I love to read and lately I've been trying to improve my writing. I'd love to be a travel writer, and I think it's something I might pursue, but I know that it'll probably never be my day job. Whenever I go anywhere, my camera is pretty much glued to my hand. I run a vlog so that I can keep track of it all later. I also really love to crochet; I make all sorts of rubbish that no one wants, but I find it really therapeutic.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett and fantasy in general. I like all sorts of films, but especially action/adventure stuff and comedies. I also really love more conceptual things - last year Life In A Day got released in cinemas, and I really loved it as a slice-of-life thing, it was really beautiful.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Seeing Kilimanjaro from the air on the plane from Dar-es-Salaam to Nairobi was pretty amazing, as was seeing the forests in Algonquin Park. The countryside in Akita, Japan, the sunsets in Tanzania and Zanzibar, they were all amazing.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I speak a couple of languages that I'd be happy to teach the basics of. I'm also a bit crafty, and I like to crochet, which is kind of like knitting, except you only have one hook. I know a little bit about photography and video editing as well, which is one of my favourite hobbies.
