About Me

CURRENT ENDEAVORS

1) In the midst of becoming a Certified Public Accountant

2) Started a unisex, ethically-sourced non-profit that generates revenue by selling alpaca and cotton sweaters, made in Peru, to raise funds for current social and environmental issues.

ABOUT ME

Multilingual (German and English, but working diligently on Spanish), Midwesterner, who loves meeting new people, traveling and using my accounting experience to try and impart goodness on the world.

I currently live in Austin, TX with my girlfriend and 7-year-old dog, Gus(see pic).

I am a progressive-thinking, open-minded vegetarian (who doesn't hold meat eating against anybody).

MOTTO

What have you personally done today to address the issue you care about most?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be perfectly honest, I had never used couch surfing until now. I usually have been able to rely on the accommodations of friends and friends-of-friends to or Airbnb, but I think that this will be a better way to really meet folks in new and unexplored terrain, for me.

That said, when I first moved to Austin, I lived with 3 of my close friends and one of them was an avid CS-er, so I have seen, participated, and facilitated the CS experience, just never personally done it.

Bourbon whiskey! Maybe I can bring a bottle if it’s “your cup of tea”

I know my way around a kitchen (and can make some pretty good vegetarian ramen).

I have lived in many corners of the country and world and love to share stories while making new experiences.
