Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be perfectly honest, I had never used couch surfing until now. I usually have been able to rely on the accommodations of friends and friends-of-friends to or Airbnb, but I think that this will be a better way to really meet folks in new and unexplored terrain, for me.
That said, when I first moved to Austin, I lived with 3 of my close friends and one of them was an avid CS-er, so I have seen, participated, and facilitated the CS experience, just never personally done it.
