Ahorita estoy viajando por todo México para conocer el país, la cultura, la gente y para mejorarme en el español (ya hablo bastante, pero me gustaría hacerme más fluido).

I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
I lived in Monterrey, MX for six months in 2010 on a student exchange.
At the moment I'm travelling around Mexico in order to get to know the country better and improve my Spanish (I already speak quite well, but I would like to become more fluent).

Uso couchsurfing porque me encanta hacer amigo que viven en los lugares donde estoy viajando. Está increíble conocer la gente local y sus amigos, estas personas siempre conocen los mejores lugares para salir a tomar y bailar, lugares importantes para visitar, que hablan el idioma, y así que pueden enseñarme sobre sus hogares, familias, ciudades, su sociedad, politica, música, su arte y cultura.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to make friends who actually live in the places where I'm travelling. It's great to get to know local people and their friends, who always know the best places to go out and visit, who speak the language, and can teach me about their homes, families, cities, society, politics, music, art and culture.

Zainteresowania

Cultura, lectura, arte, estudiar idiomas, historia, deporte (fútbol).
Mis actividades favoritas son: acampar, pescar (con palo y con harpón), navigar, hacer bodyboard, nadar, y montar bici. Me encanta tomar y a veces fumar, pero también me gusta andar más tranquilo, leer, cotorrear, cocinar y jugar ajedrez.
También me gusta muchisimo jugar Smash Brothers en 64, Wii, y Wii U.

My interests are fairly wide-ranging and diverse. I guess you could say I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. I enjoy: reading, writing, studying languages, and I'm a passionate follower of sports: Australian football, soccer (English & Mexican football), and cricket. My favourite leisure activities mostly involve the outdoors: camping, fishing (with a rod and also spear fishing), sailing, body boarding, swimming and riding my bike. I also don't mind a drink and have been known to smoke, although if either of these things are not your cup of tea I also really enjoy relaxing, taking it easy, reading, chatting and cooking.
I like to play Smash Brothers on Nintendo 64, Wii and Wii U.
I also really like to play chess.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Music:
All kinds. My absolute favourite type of music is Punk (Old, Hardcore, Crust, Grind, punk en español, etc) but I'm pretty much totally open-minded when it comes to music. I like old rock, most kinds of modern guitar rock, blues, jazz, electro/nica, dub, reggae, rap, beats, cumbia, and pretty much all music from Mexico. Most of all I like to go to show and see local bands and people making interesting music.

Movies:
I'm not a massive cinephile, but I like to go the movies to watch whatever is on.
In the last five years or so I have mainly been watching movies in Spanish to help improve my language skills and learn more about Spain and Latin America.
El Infierno, La Ley de Herodes, La Dictadura Perfecta and Un Mundo Maravilloso are my favourite Mexican Films

Books:
Some of my favourite authors are: Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, John Steinbeck, Kurt Vonnegut, Noam Chomsky, and Joseph Conrad. I love to read.

Last year I sailed from New Zealand to Australia.
We spent 11 days at sea without seeing land.
