I'm Italian who moved here this summer and living in the historic center of an Medieval hill-town in the beautiful Gran Sasso National Park in Abruzzo, about a two hour drive from Rome.

The town is quiet in the winter but there are three grocery stores and four restaurants that remain open every day. The bus from L'Aquila takes one hour, and stops in the center square, which is less than a 5 minute walk from my place.

I have an extra bedroom with a double bed and it's own bathroom for travelers.

I'm often traveling myself so check with me if I'm at home!
