About Me

CURRENT MISSION

just going with it.

ABOUT ME

as with most aussies, im pretty easy going and always up for a laugh. currently at the end of my 2 working holiday visa in the uk which i love and am sad to be leaving, so want to make the most of my curent location and jump on the european bandwagon.
i love everything new to me, and also of course enjoy and love travelling, but more importantly getting involved in the country and the people rather than the iconic photos (altho i do like those too)
i am also half african, and cant wait to go there and get to know my heritage and history. and have just signed up for one month volunteering at an orphanage in uganda.

PHILOSOPHY

one life so make it your own

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

they have all been great! what more could you ask when someone not only opens up their home but also their time and themselves in order to let you have a great experience and see and be apart of what so little other peeple get to be involved in.
my first and most memerable surf was with pipsa in finland where we visited her family for raindeer lunch followed by a trip to the lake and sauna, tthe best part was just playing family for abit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing thing i have seen and was involved in was in uganda while visiting my family. it was my grandmothers 102nd birthday (i think she might be telling a white lie) and she decided to celebrate it on new years day in her tiny village. the party was eventful to say the least and lasted 48hrs and i mean non stop!! but the way the whole family got together (i think im related to half of africa) and celebrated, danced and sang, and didnt let anything spoil it, not having constant power or having to walk down to the well early hours of the morning was going to stop the party. will never forget it!
