ABOUT ME

So I tend to be a little quiet..I enjoy observing and listening, especially when meeting new people (so don't take it wrong if I'm quiet, it means I'm enjoying myself just as much!).

I graduated from a catholic high school in 2005 (though im not religious), spent six years in the U.S. Air Force, am currently enjoying school and my personal life. I think I really only began to enjoy much of what life has to offer a few years back, when I really started becoming comfortable with who I am; a fairly liberal lover of creativity, philosophy, intellectuality, and anything else that promotes a positive growth of the world's civilizations. I am an open minded person who thrives on alternative input in life. Ive been lucky to have been afforded a very diverse, and large, network of friends and family whom I love dearly and have helped me in my own development. I plan on continuing this type of growth for as long as I live.
I am also a very structured individual (sometimes a tad annoying, but I'm working to break into a harmony between structure and Living more freely) and I certainly appreciate the rules of life, especially the social ones.

PHILOSOPHY

life is special, but I don't believe it's layer out before me. My life is and will be whatever I make it, and that's the reason it's important to me to surround myself around like-minded types, or even those who may offer me something new. in a way I suppose it's a little selfish, but I'm just out to learn as much as I can by whomever I can, in whatever way they'll best teach me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I am utterly new to this, so I'm a bit timid but also excited to see where it takes me, and see about meeting some new amazing people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely none so far, though given my one month in Europe that I began less than a week ago, I sure hope I can gain some experiences before returning home.

Interests

I love art, design, photography, gaming, movies, the great outdoors (Love hiking and biking and just getting lost in nature) and being with my loved ones. I spend my time doing as much as I can with the aforementioned topics..these are what make me happy.

I definitely am a person who is passionate about food..I love trying new foods (one of the best things about traveling!). I am also a big wine drinker, though I fancy a few specific beers as well. I really just like trying to get the most out of life, be it through creating, observing, hanging out with friends/family, etc. I'm pretty open as I will Usually try most things once.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies..well I'm a huge movie guy, and certainly a lover of cinematics. I have too many to list..I love science fiction, romance, comedies , etc. As long as it has a good cast, good writing, or a creative photographic style, I'll probably enjoy it. As far as music, I'm into pretty much what in the u.s. is consider the "classic rock" genre..that would be groups like Led Zeppelin and CCR, two of my all time favorites. I also enjoy Linkin Park and actually some of the modern electronic/dubstep/techno music..it's got such energy to it.

books, I'm really into history (sorta a WWII history buff), survival fictions (Alas Babylon one of my favorites, and a very quick but interesting read), fantasies—love Tolkien. I have to admit though, I just have not read as much as I would like to..it's a goal of mine to improve this.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I'm a huge techie. I'm an expert with an assortment of types of technology as I love computers, I'm heavy into photography as a hobby and certainly know my cameras. I love most apple products :)
Im pretty knowledgable with certain areas of homeopathic medicine, having grown up around much of it..though I don't always practice it! :p
Other than that..I love to learn as much as I can..I could probably use some lessons in the kitchen, yes even at my age, I'm not the greatest chef, though I enjoy trying. My ears are always open to art and design as well, love it.
