ABOUT ME

Not too much to say here. i'm a normal college student with maybe a bit more ambition to get out and do something with my life. I want to see everything the world has to offer outside of "civilized society". My dream job would be something that I could use exploring the world and get paid to do it. My roommate and I are travelling to Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic for 4 months in fall to explore, camp and just get out of America for a lil while! whee

Interests

Biking, Hiking, Backpacking, Rockclimbing, Swimming, would love to learn to kayak and river raft! Am taking a river rafting class this summer! Pretty much anything outdoors but i also really appreciate the arts. Music is one of my passions and i love to sing and listen to songs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read A LOT! so i have trouble remembering which books were outstanding and which ones were just ok...
I like Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, anything by Bill Bryson or Tom Robbins, and this one is embarrassing, but i like Laurell K. Hamilton. Music i listen to anything that's not mainstream, i like crazy bands who don't say the same thing that everyone else has already said. My roommate works at a music store and we are always trying to find new and interesting sounds.
hmm ...not too into movies..i dont like tv, but i watch a few good ones when the come out, if they catch my eye.

I am just a beginner myself, but the people i surround myself with know just about anything. We go backcountry snowboarding/skiing. They can show u how to ice climb, rock climb, kayak, ski, board, hike, etc...
