ABOUT ME

Im a pretty laid back but knowledgable Canadian hoping to build up my experiences not just through the things I see, but the people I meet. The worlds greatest resource, humans, offer more knowledge and wisdom than I can ever hope for. Knowing this gives me the ability pursue situations outside my comfort zone where I will be forced to rely on people who are like (but no exactly like) myself.

Ready and willing for a good old educational/cultural experience, intelligent conversations about almost anything, and/or a gnarly party.

Generally, to treat others how I would want to be treated. I am sincerely aware of how one can be perceived in the world, with the only way to beat these decisions, often made in the blink of an eye, through communication and tolerance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited experience, but I love the philosophy/mantra of bringing people into ones home.

Non-fiction mostly. Thought provoking documentaries, rip-roaring comedies, dramas and some thrillers.

Music is a huge part of my life. An alternative/folk/indie junkie, I love to bond over different bands and genres. Got a sweet place to take me to see some live music in your town? Could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the middle of a 4 month backpacking tour of a few select parts of this world. From Hong Kong to South east asia, to Germany and Europe, onto New York City and via a road trip home, this is my chance to circumference the world and live to tell about it.
