ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old and have just started my travelling experience. I've played guitar for the past 8 years but not formally, more just around and about the house. I grew up in a quiet suburb on the edge of Manchester, but love the city itself. I'm now at university in nottingham studying history. I also work in a burrito bar, and can build and wrap a burrito in 30 seconds (I'm pretty proud of that I must say).
I'd say that I'm an outgoing, approachable person and I enjoy the company of anyone who can tell a good story. I'm terribly clumsy, although this can be an inconvenience to myself, it seems to give everyone else a good laugh.

I am a smoker but would only smoke where it had been explicitly said I could.

PHILOSOPHY

If something makes a good story it can't ever be that bad, but that doesn't mean live your life for the sake of others.

Why not, eh?

It's sad that being kind or nice is viewed as such a virtue when really that's just being a decent human being.

I'll make time for anyone that needs it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience is extremely limited (I don't have any) but I'm eager to meet like minded people and get my couch surfing life of to a great start.

Quick note to say I'm currently doing my university dissertation so may be slow on replies - will try to check back more often though!

AEGIS (I'm the president of the student wing of a charity at my university which seeks to raise awareness of and end genocide)
Philosophy - despite being a history major, a lot of my credentials have been in philosophy. I'm probably a bit of an idealist though.
Travelling
Baking - primarily brownies as these are the only thing that seem to come out right everytime.
Cooking - I'm particularly fond of spicy good though.

I play guitar, enjoy cooking and baking. I have rudimentary skills in juggling. I'd love to share any of this with anyone who wants to learn.

I myself want to learn a language, any other instrument, or any little talent really.
