About Me
People usually describe me as kind, sensitive, and curious. I love music-mostly seeing intimate shows, but I play guitar bass and sing as well. I really enjoyed getting the chance to a radio show in the town where I attended college. I have really want to make the world feel smaller by getting to know new places and more importantly the people that live there. Some of my hobbies and interests include--geography, art history, psychology, botany, table tennis, and hacky sacking, film photography, etc.
I am very curious and excited by having conversations and spending quality time with people. Both my parents are chicago public school teachers, and I find it to be an extremely important but unfortunately undervalued profession. I do plan to teach in some capacity, I'm also a certified ADHD & life coach.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part of traveling has been conversations in hostels with people from different cultures from my own. Now what I’m really hoping for through Couchsurfing is to connect with people who deeply know the place that they live in, and are open to sharing a bit about their culture:)
I grew up visiting my relatives in Mexico. In the town that they live in, which is becoming very touristy, I really value the connection to my family there, and feel almost like a local when I stay with them for months of the summer. I spend time with cousins, aunts, and uncles, and sharing everyday life with them.
I haven’t hosted on Couchsurfing yet, but I plan to when I have my own place. Growing up in Chicago, my parents often welcomed travelers they met into our home. We’d share meals, and would show them our favorite things to do in the city.

Teach, Learn, Share
I’m always happy to talk about and share music — guitar, singing, or just listening together. I make great chilaquiles. I enjoy good conversation, sharing travel stories, or just asking questions and hearing about whatever it is that you are passionate about.
More than anything, I like bringing good energy, curiosity, and I'm willing to help out with whatever.
