ABOUT ME

I am the mother of the coolest kid. By way of osmosis, I am pretty cool myself. I believe that killing spiders is bad karma but I will pay people to kill roaches. I love thrift stores and flea markets. I sometimes tell how I feel by reciting song lyrics. I hate profiles because you have to describe yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

Truth is perception. Since perception is unique to the individual there is no universal truths. We're all right!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can not really travel as much as I would like to but that doesn't mean that I can't help others along their way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a host to couch surfers for years but never in a capitalized way, "CouchSurfers". I wish I had known others felt the same way back then. I wouldn't have lived out of my car so much.

Interests

Everything is interesting. I can babble incessesantly about my thoughts but can shut up just long enough to find out about yours. I am the most cynical optimist you may ever meet. Oh and I like animals.

My oldest favorite movie is Metropolis and my newest favorite movie is Pan's Labrynth. I enjoy the writings of Paul Bowles, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlien, Micheal Crichton, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Mark Twain, and Lewis Caroll.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm constantly amazed. More so since having a child. Ennui is not an option when you are encouraging someone to be curious and raising them to be kind.
