Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning a 6 month tour of South America and want to meet many people along my journey! Along the way I hope to increase my fluency in Spanish, learn a lot about the cultures, and explore the cities and countryside! After all, there is no better way to get to know a community than meeting the people who live there!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of all music!
Specific artists/genres that come to mind are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Reggaeton, Salsa, Simon & Garfunkel etc.
I love books about travel and adventures (i.e. Sailing Alone Around the World). The title isn't particularly catchy, but it was also written a long time ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've once eaten my body weight in Serbian sausages in one night, or at least I think I did. SO much food.

The actual cool thing I have done is kayak class V rivers in West Virginia and ski some of the hardest trails in the US. Nothing is more exciting than the adrenaline rush from roaring rapids or skiing down snow-covered trails.

I can teach you about these different processes and other scientific things.

When I'm not studying these sciences, I have many hobbies.
I can teach sailing, kayaking, exercise, meditation, cooking, technology, cello, and other things!

I am always up for adventure and will join on any excursions!
I am also a good cook and enjoy sharing recipes!
