HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now sorted for hosting and have had a first guest. A great experience and looking forward to many more. Planning to manage our (belated)Canadian honeymoon next year through couchsurfing too. Keen to hook up with any local CS groups/activities and welcoming the chance to broaden my horizons.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Introduced by the lovely Neil Anderson in Glasgow back in 2010. I guess I, technically, surfed at his place while taking in a few gigs of the Celtic Connections Festival. Have, finally, hosted now and want to do much more of this - hosting and surfing, home and abroad.

Music, singing, learning French and to play guitar, currently half way round a mission to circumnavigate the county of Wiltshire on foot by off-road paths, gardening, growing my own food, composting (very passionate about the worms); live music, theatre and comedy, volunteer youth worker, recently started an informal gardening club in the village

Done: Nude Zorbing, escaped hippo attack, singing at my friends' wedding, maintained many long term friendships, started my own business, singing with a 1000 strong choir to raise money for WaterAid,

Seen: Victoria Falls, my house from a glider, humanity and grace in the face of grinding poverty, the joy of someone overcoming their fears

'sperms, germs, worms' are my speciality really. Gardening, composting, sexual health. An odd combination but quite a satisfying one.
