ABOUT ME

Easy going, I know how to get along and spend some quality time with friends and new acquaintances.

Most of all things, I love travelling to meet new people, discover other cultures and get out of my comfort zone. And since cooking well does appeal to me, I also know how to appreciate your local food a lot when I'm abroad: new food is a good motivation to move out (even if I have to overpay to get my much needed piece of good cheese). I may sometimes forget to relax enough while traveling, often by fear of missing something...

PHILOSOPHY

I have a ginormous optimistic outlook on life, and I can't fathom anything changing that for good.

This would be a shame to go into any further philosophical details here without oversimplifying, so why don't we share this over a drink here? (and, frankly, I don't have time to write an essay here)

I'm starting as a host, and when the time comes, I'll try to benefit from others' hospitality!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still a beginner in the field, yet I'm pleased by what I've experienced so far; I got what I expected, i.e. meeting new people from around the world with cool stories.

兴趣

I already mentioned traveling, but here it is once more.

On a day-to-day basis though, I practice my fair deal of running (if you dig this, we might even have a run together) all year-long, and skying during winter. Lots of cycling too is involved, at least for my daily commute (I've a spare bike, by the way), and I really enjoy playing table tennis, even if I don't do it enough to my liking.

I'm also fond of boardgames, and that ranges from party games that last 30 minutes to the kind of huge strategy game requiring a big table, lots of people, discussions, and plenty of time ahead. Add that to videogames, especially the local multiplayers ones, and you'll quickly see why I'm known as living in a sort of toy library for grownups (or not so...).

Oh, and I like building robots, but that's for when my free time is not eaten by all of the above.

音乐、电影和书籍

Wow, as far as music is concerned, I listen to it all day long (work/commute/home). Mostly (hard/indie) rock, folk, electroswing, electro, OSTs, classical.

Books: I'm into Foundation by Asimov right now.

Movies: lots of them. Really, I hardly miss a week that includes going to the movie theater.

My 13 months in Denmark for Erasmus. Best year in terms of studies and meeting new people in a great country.

Let's practice some French if you need so.
Or cook a meal from a French recipe together.
And joke on weird French customs that I may even not understand well myself.
If you're French yourself, I guess this may not sound as cool as someone else might think... Désolé, nous trouverons autre chose !

I'll learn any tongue twister related to your native language. I should be modest and rather say "try to", insofar as the Danish famous one got me. Overall, teach me anything you know worth sharing!
