I've recently graduated from a degree in English literature from Cambridge University, and now I am taking some time off to relax and travel around Germany. I really wanted to go to Germany so this has been a very exciting time, and so far I have had loads of wonderful experiences.

I'm very interested in writing, reading, the theatre, and activities like going out to visit galleries and museums, but I also love having the chance to meet and learn about new people, and I love activities like trips to pubs and bars to hang out.

I've been in Germany for a few weeks in Frankfurt, volunteering at Sommerwerft, an arts an theatre festival. I had a great time in the festival, and have now arranged to fly back to England from Cologne on the 12th of August, because I wanted to give myself some more time to explore nearby cities. I hear great things about Heidelberg and Cologne, and I would love to have the chance to check them out and to hear some thoughts from people who live in those areas!

It would be great to meet new people and learn about activities. In particular, I am also queer, and so if there are other members of the LGBT+ community who might have some pointers on what to do that would be wonderful, but that isn't essential at all.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I put on a dance evening with a couple of my friends, which was meant to be a comfortable space to have fun, and also to raise money for an LGBT+ charity, Mermaids. The first event was wonderful, and succeeded in raising over three hundred pounds for charity, and as a result we also put on another night.

It was great to be able to have a positive effect on the world through raising money, as well as to be able to create a cultural space for other people to enjoy and to see the result of our hard work.

I could help a host to develop their English speaking skills. I could also give insights into some of my cultural and political interests which have come as a result of my studies, and my involvement in political activism.

I would also be happy to provide more practical help for my host while I was there, such as helping around the house or using my cooking skills to make life easier.
