About Me

To be a Mandarin language expert.

Hi CSers! I'm Kitti from Hungary. I always lived here in Budapest but I love travelling! When I was younger I always travelled together with my mom and I visited a lot of beautiful places what I've probably never seen if she hasn't taken me there. Recently I rather explore the world with my friends! :) I'm a creative, talktative and lot of other -ative girl. This is pretty enough for first. :))

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

When I have some free time I host people from all around the world. Even if I have to learn or work and I can't go sightseeing all day, I always try to spend some time and have fun together with my CSers.

The CS community showed me it's new side when I was in China - I felt lonely and lost in a new town, but the first time I went to the weekly CS meeting I've got new friends who became my dear friends and travel partners for all of my journey.

Whenever I have a chance I travel abroad to see other countries, meet new people and to get know different cultures. I wish I could go more and more!

I hosted: Jonno from Australia, September 2010 Kevin and Sascha from Belgium, October 2010 Will from the United States, October 2010 Luiz from Brazil, October 2010 Hiu Lam from China, January 2010 Claudia from China, April 2011 Stam and Erina Liu from Taiwan, July 2011 Can from Turkey, August 2011 Milan, Felix and Annika from Germany, March 2012 Zih-Hua from Taiwan, April 2012 Tor from Norway (random host from night-bus), July 2012 Hang and Chi from Vietnam, August 2012 Kuba from Poland, October 2012 Yiding from Italy/China, February 2013 Matt from Germany, May 2013 Yi-an from Taiwan, June 2013 Rumi from Finland, September 2013

I always welcome people from China because I'm very interested in Chinese culture. Now I'm learning Mandarin and I'd love to practice it. :)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I saw the Indonesian girls' breathtaking dance in Bali. I swam with dolphins in Mexico. I read a great book while sunbathing on Mount Olympus. I fed squirrels in the sunny St. James' Park in London. I slept in a tent in the middle of the steppe during a safari in Kenya. Our tiny boat was lost in Thailand. I gazed the stars in the middle of the ocean. I swam in the world's maybe most beautiful hotel on the top of the world, 57th floor,in Singapore. I spent half year in China learning Mandarin language and I had new experiences every day.

...and I always felt something like never, never, before.
