Hey ! I am Mindy. I am 23 years old and i am from Chile, a beautiful country of South America, I am actually from the south of Chile, a place full of nature and wonderful people. I come from a big and really close family, am the third of fifth siblings, so life taught me about respect, sharing and patience * mostly patience.

In this moment am living in Virginia for an interexchange programme, i already been here 5 months, and i can say that is one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

I enjoy travelling and meeting new people, and that is what i am exactly doing in this amazing place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my friend we are planning a trip to visit different parts of USA and Canada, i asked some friends about hotels or any other option to stay during some nights and one of them talked to me about this way of meeting people and sharing at the same time. We really want to know as much as possible and it seems this new way of doing it *for us/ is what we are looking for..

i really love natural places, i love sports in general and keeping active. I like meeting people and laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy any kind of music in general but my tops are classic and progressive rock.
I love watching movies, I would say my favorite are drama, action and horror movies. I must add that i love Quentin Tarantino movies.
I confess i am not a good reader but i really enjoyed reading Papelucho book in school by Marcela Paz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think helping people is an amazing thing any person in the world can do. Voluntary work when i was in university is one of the things i feel proud of . Voluntary help for homeless people at church is also something am glad to say i did.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not an expert in anything but i can teach spanish, some stuffs about sports and cooking. I can share my experiences in my country as teacher and tourist guide and also my short time living in the USA.
I am an open listener, i want to learn as much as i can if someone is willing to teach me, i am gonna be there to receive all the knowledge.
