ABOUT ME

enjoy the natural beauty of the area we live in, from hills, woodlands, lakes & waterways. :) unfortunately, no mountains. :(

My partner Jerry & I have been together 9+ years. We share our house with our cat, Ninja. Jerry is a retired schoolteacher & spends most of his time caring for our flower & vegetable gardens. Most of my time is spent in the kitchen at 7Monks Taproom, serving up 'high-class barfood' made mostly of locally-sourced foods.
Othwerwise, I love to run & bike and have recently completed my first Marathon & Triathlon, and am now gearing up for an Ultra-Marathon (Aug 18, Marquette Trail 50K). we both love the Arts. Jerry as an appreciator, I as a participant.
I host an EveningRock rad-ioshow, biweekly, at the local college, featuring indie rock, electronic, and local artists. WNMC 90.7FM

i've been an informal couchsurfer, so just trying to connect now officially through the site and offer a couch to those in need. traveling can be expensive. and we have space available!

being in the Olympic National Rainforest in Washington was a beautiful moment, being amidst the lush greenery. As soon as you stepped in, you could feel the temperature difference.

And Yellowstone National Park is fantastic too. Great landscapes.
