I am committed to sustainability. I work to keep toxins out of my environment. I do not knowingly use chemicals, and prefer they stay out of my abode. I eat organically, mostly local, and only occasionally eat well-raise meat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a handful of surfers, and now surfed a couple of places myself. What a great opportunity to travel, share and enrich each others' lives!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2012 I did a road trip, on which I combined car camping, friends and couch-surfing. It was a great experience for me. Instant friends wherever you go- how rich is that?!

I love the arts, nature, beauty in everything and everyone. I work to enhance people's lives through creative experience. I am interested in shifting into an age of peace and prosperity for everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic, wide range of music, including singer/songwriter, classical, jazz, folk, indi. Movies I tend to love are documentaries, sci-fi, drama, indi. Most of my reading these days is on the internet, as I'm always curious to understand more about a wide range on the cutting edge of new science, physics, technology, spirituality, philosophy, community building, sustainability, ect., etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was gifted the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, and I chose Ethiopia, where the girl I had been sponsoring for 8 years lived, in Addis Ababa. I will never forget the feeling when I walked out of the tarmac in Ethiopia, as the sounds, smells and air hit me, of home. I was surprised by that, as I'd never been there before in this lifetime. I only knew I felt drawn to it.
My 'daughter' was perfectly beautiful, smart, kind, thoughtful. I spent time in her world, with her family. They are such beautiful, elegant, noble people.
I want to go back some day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an experienced painter, and I can paint walls and trim, or a picture for you, to suit your personality and your space. I'm willing to help with cooking and cleanup, or other housework that needs doing.
