About Me
- Currently travelling! Back in Ithaca in August -
I study Earth Sciences, love animals, am a middle child, love kids, enjoy travelling and meeting new people. Board games, puzzles and cards are exciting. I enjoy cooking and baking and love to share with hosts and guests. Learning to take good photographs on all my adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying with locals is more friendly and personal than staying in hostels. You learn about must dos and sees better this way. I have couch surfed in Auckland, New Zealand; Montreal, Canada; Colorado Springs, USA (not necessarily always through this website).
As a guest: I enjoy spending time with my hosts. As a solo traveller I always appreciate it when hosts have some time to show me around, but I understand that people have busy schedules, so I appreciate having me time too! I am always happy to bake some goodies for my hosts.
Communicating with my family is important to me so I tend to videochat them every other day; just a heads up :)
As a host: I have mainly hosted visiting students in my apartment in Ithaca, NY, not necessarily always through Couchsurfing (not many CS-ers come to Ithaca). I have a mattress in a spare room, and one female roommate.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading murder mysteries and watching classic whoddunits! Big fan of Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie, Conan Doyle and J. K. Rowling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am a paleontologist/geologist so I dig for fossils!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation and baked goods (I'll need your oven)!
