Overview
About Me
I am a student in Fukuoka. I have lived in Japan for a few years. I do research in corporate governance and finance. I’m a people person and always enjoy conversations. I find communicating with people from different backgrounds enlightening, that's why I decided to use Couchsurfing.
--------------------------------------
Here are some informtaion for guests:
My place is near Susenji station, which is in the west of this city, about 30-40 minutes by train from the city center.
Nearby sightseeing places include
- Sakurai Shrine Futamigaura Torii, which is a shrine in the sea.
(https://maps.app.goo.gl/P32h4cpne1dQfcwYA);
- Moutain Rai, a good place for hiking and admiring the red leaves in autumn.

- The Karatsu Castle is about 1 hour away by train.
- There’s also a good hot spring or stone bath place nearby(20 minutes by bus).
A few things about the place:
🌸 No smoke is allowed in the house. The smell will stay in the tatami.
🌸 There is no elevator. The entrance of this building is not in good condition.
🌸 I can host one person at a time.
🌸 Please come back before 10 P.M.
A mattress, blanket, and pillows will be provided.
Please tell me your travel plans in your first message, including how long you're going to stay in Japan in total, the previous place you stayed, and your next destination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet people with different cultural backgrounds and just enjoy people’s company while traveling. It is always nice to learn about the place from the local people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like books and movies with good storytelling and a sense of humor. I also care about the aesthetic value of the work. For a lot of pieces, the wisdom included could always entertain me.
For books, I would always name “Dream of Red Mansions” as my favorite. I’m also a professional
researcher of the drama “Empresses in the Palace”, as well as a deep Bilibili user(Chinese Youtube, but no ads : ).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Climbed Fuji Mountain. Though it’s such suffering for my body, I am glad I did it and enjoyed the experience of walking right under the cloud very much.
- I am enjoying the growing benefits of ‘compounds’, I refresh myself and grow toward an adult with psychological maturity from day to day.
- I use bullet points all the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my small collections from traveling.
