If I had to use one word to describe myself, it would be 'happy'. Happy in the sense that I am a positive person, content with life, an optimist. I decided to be happy one day when I looked around and realized that many people were unhappy with life, they complain, they blame, and they don't smile. Smiling is awesome.
Happiness is a choice. Not a goal.
My dad once told me, 'in life, if you constantly adopt good habits, while dropping bad habits, how can you not succeed?'. I strive to be everything 'good'.. positive, friendly, sensitive to others feelings/culture, filial, and more. Of course, 'good' is a relative term.
The one thing I value most in life is time, time is freedom, freedom to do whatever I want. My goal in life is to not be limited by this phenomenon termed 'work', it makes you stay in an office everyday from 8-5. With these 9 hours everyday, I could be playing games at home, hanging out with my friends, bringing my dogs to the beach, traveling, and enjoying what life has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got to know some Germans staying beside my room while on a diving trip in Pulau Tioman. They were exchange students based in Korea and they decided to travel from Thailand down to Malaysia and eventually Singapore before flying over to Bali over the holidays. I brought them around Singapore while they were here and they in turn offered to show me around if I was ever in Germany. I realized I quite enjoyed the experience and started thinking to myself, wouldn't it be nice if a local could show me around when I was traveling?
I think its an awesome idea to travel not just as a tourist, but to experience life as a local. I plan to participate by traveling? And possibly act as a tour guide for those traveling into Singapore.
Couchsurfed in Taiwan - November 2012.
I enjoy activities such as basketball, inline skating, rock climbing, wakeboarding and snowboarding among others (though truth be told I'm not particularly good in any of them) and am always keen to pick up new sports or activity. I also enjoy playing computer games.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music. No preference really, but if you have a passion for a certain genre of music, it would be awesome if you could teach me to love it too.
I read fiction fantasy and self help books.
I rarely watch movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Things that left a lasting impression: the clear waters of Palau Redang, Malaysia and the friendliness of Taiwanese.
There's not much I've seen or done truthfully, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to add to this short list very soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could practice speaking English or Chinese with you if you need the practice. I actually think having a language barrier is cool
I would like to learn more on whatever you are passionate about! It would be best if you could teach me to love it too
