ABOUT ME

Well, we are Matt and Christina.

We will soon be moving to California to work on organic farms and will be needing hospitable couches along the way for ourselves and our 2 adorable cats.

Before that happens, we are connecting with as many people as we can. We are extremely easy-going and hard to not get along with.

Oh and anyone we surf with must be gay-friendly!

PHILOSOPHY

Considering we are a Psychology major and a Political Science major, respectively, we could write an entire website on our "personal philosophies" :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far we have only had one experience, but there is something to be said for not only meeting and connecting with new people, but being able to see the places you are visiting from knowledgeable and passionate eyes. There is nothing like the people who live there for getting to know a place.

Interests

We like to spin poi. Fire, glow, ribbons...we have fire fans and a fire orb as well. facebook.com/madpropspros

Christina loves to organize music, research urban development and hopes to soon launch a music label.
Matt is studied psychology and enjoys playing video games. He hopes to one day run a large scale poi school (we are currently small scale).

We want to travel, gain new experiences, and new friends! We have open minds.

Music, Movies, and Books

For books, we agree that The Poisonwood Bible is amazing. We will pretty much read anything we can get our hands on that seems well-written or is recommended to us, so a list would be too long. Oryx & Crake, White Oleander, and many non-fiction as well.

As for music, you would be hard-pressed to find a duo with more varying tastes. Try us!
