Hello, I am a university student from Korea. I am currently studying this semester in University of Bath in UK. Actually this is my first time being in European countries after since I was a baby, so I am very excited.

I like trying out new things, and currently couch surfing is one of the top on my list of things that I would really like to try out. I have to serve for Korean army for 2 years after going back to Korea, so I really would like to make my exchange semester one of the best times of my life!!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I got to know about couch surfing from a Singaporean friend. He is also an exchange student here. Listening to his experiences in Germany with the hosts he met, I decided that this was something I should definitely try before going back to Korea.

I am third year in my university, but actually haven't decided what I would like to do in my future, and what values I value most. I hope couch surfing can bring me new experiences and inspiration that can help me to think more and learn more about myself. I am confident that couch surfing would be one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

Though I have not been accepted by any hosts yet, I felt that they were wonderful people from sincere replies of rejection, and can't wait to meet anyone!!

Intereses

I like playing sports, especially soccer. Currently in my school of exchange, I am playing tennis, swimming, and trying out fencing for the first time.

I like meeting new people, hanging out with friends, traveling around, listening to music, watching movies, wandering by a riverside, drinking wine, beer and any sort.

Música, películas y libros

I really like all kinds of genres of music, from ballad to hip hop, electronics, ones from Korea and also ones from abroad. I would love to try new music of your taste as well.

I also like all genres of movies, from simple comedy, romance, to action, thriller and so on.

I think an impressive novel for me was Dan Brown's angels and demons.

I am a very round and open-minded person!!

I think one amazing thing I did was participating in a Model United Nations in New York. I could meet people from various nations who were very enthusiastic and sweet. I actually saw UN Secretary General in the UN headquarters and was very thrilled.

Another amazing thing is going to Myanmar to do a volunteering work. I helped build a primary school with other university students, with help from local workers. I could meet local people of Myanmar, children were very sweet, I had an exciting time, felt very worthwhile.

I would love to meet the local people in the countries I visit, learn about the history or culture, and try local food if I may!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I have been trying to cook a lot being independent as an exchange student, I can try to cook Korean foods for any hosts if anyone would want, and I am quite confident at doing dish washing now.
