I'm a 26 year old philosophy student who has lived in Turku for almost four years. I like being spontaneous, experiencing new things and places and of course meeting new interesting people.

I think it's a good way to get to know new people and local culture.

Interests

I could dance all the time. It's definitely one of my favourite pastimes. I'm also getting into yoga.

I'm always up for playing board games in a good company.

I study philosophy so it's naturally one of things I have a keen interest in. Especially I'm interested in ethics and social philosophy. My minors are sociology, gender studies, multiculturalism and political science so these are also topics I find very interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything that sounds good and my listening habits depend a lot on my mood. I have a couple of all-time favourite artists. They include Nirvana, Anssi Kela (Finnish pop/rock singer-songwriter), The Dresden Dolls, Marilyn Manson, Amy Winehouse, Aesthetic Perfection and so on. Recently I've been listening to Jake Bugg and Sia a lot.

I grew up with Harry Potter. Although Harry Potter books aren't literary masterpieces, I'm not ever going to get fed up with them. I've really enjoyd The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, Unwind dystology by Neal Shusterman, Genesis by Bernard Beckett etc.. I'm really into dystopian and other speculative fiction genres.

I've participated a hitchhiking competition with a friend of mine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Finnish if you are interested in learning foreign languages. It is said that Finnish is quite hard but I think it's also an amazingly beautiful language.
