ABOUT ME

My goal in life is to live on 10% of my income and give the rest to orphans, slow seals, ugly puppies and the illegally blind.

My view on life - it's a photo album. What we do creates the photos in our mind. Most people live on the thin edge of the paper, between the memories. Years and years may go by without adding a single new picture. Not me. I live life for all I can and when I die, I will not say, "if only I would have...."

On some construction paper artwork my daughter described me the way I most like to be perceived -

FATHER -
F - forever loving
A - adventurous
T - top dad
H - helping
E - explorer
R - real funny

Put that on my epitaph and there will be a happy dead guy underneath it.

PHILOSOPHY

I often find myself wandering odd streets, back roads, nooks and crannies of cultures, desperately seeking serendipity - often discovering the little Easter eggs of fun God has placed there for us to find - if we dare to be open to receiving them.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Bought a one way ticket to Florida for 3 week hike (started with $3 in my pocket). Started in Ft. Meyers, found my way to Key West, then back up throught the Everglades via canoe.
