Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To really understand a country, I believe that you need to get to know and understand the people.

My fondest travel memories have been those that I have shared with local people and new travel companions. Swapping stories, life experiences, enjoying the delectable local cuisine together :).

Interests

I love Vinyassa Yoga. A moving meditation to some chilled beats, what more could you ask for?
I love ninja training. I used to do Tae Kwon Do, Ninjitsu, Krav Maga and Eskrima. Kiiiiiiia (that's a martial art noise by the way, makes me look heaps tougher).
I love dancing. Whether it be dancing like a lunatic, partner dancing salsa/meringue or dancing in the aisles of the shopping mall, it doesn't matter :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking tea at Kolukkumalai, the highest tea plantation in the world. It was some of the most amazing tea I have ever tasted and the drive up was absolutely breathtaking! There is something about the mountain air and scenic landscapes that brings me great peace and joy :)

For the most part, I prefer smiling dorkily at strangers on the street, sitting in parks and watching leaves fall and exploring supermarkets in all different countries (they are like my Disney land :D). The world is a beautiful place, we just need to take a moment to revel in it :)
