I lived in South Korea over 30 years and moved to America, living in Bellevue, WA at this moment.
I used to be a teacher in Korea but now I am totally in a different field, which makes me keep learning.
While studying in Canada 10 years ago, my Canadian friend let me know about this site and I started to travel and met people via this site. Unfortunately, after moving to US, I couldn't deal with other stuffs because I had to focus on my life as a stranger. So I totally forgot my membership here! I had to make an account again so I am totally new here again. Since I missed good people and memory via Couchsurfing, I decided to start traveling again and meeting people. I've been to Canada, England, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Czech republic,Mexico, France, Austria, Japan and Taiwan. I am a master of Busan, South Korea, where is my hometown and Seattle and Bellevue where I am living now. I can't host people because I am living with housemates, but I can be a company when I am available!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About 10 years ago, I was a member of Couchsurfing, and was a private tour guide for people or visitors from Couchsurfing. Since I couldn't host people at my place, I was happy to meet people from all over the world and enjoy things together. However, after moving to US, I had a hard time to adjust myself to a new environment, which made me focusing on where I am and what I am doing. Now I am starting to travel all over the world again before I am getting old. I loved the purpose of Couchsurfing and met great people while traveling in Europe. I want to make a great memory again with people who can give me a positive energy.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite Korean singers are Dong-ryul Kim, Hyo-shin Park and Sora Lee. Other foreign musicians are Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and The Chainsmokers. Best movie in my life is "Before sunrise" "Before sunset" and "Before midnight". Favorite book is "eat, pray and love". All things are related to TRIP!!
