What I'm on now :

Just quit my job to travel around for a bit :) will be in Beijing/Xinjiang for June 2017, then Thailand (Khon Kaen) for a few months for a yoga/meditation/permaculture project. Planning to go India for yoga after and maybe Japan... plans are open!:)

When I was in Singapore, I'm usually dancing, doing acroyoga, practising sign language, farming and learning more about massage, alternative medicines and scents :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live life and love, do what you think feels right (and what you feel "thinks" right; strengthening the mind-heart connection basically)! Bring kindness and love to wherever you go, whoever you meet :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've gotten my first taste of solo traveling and CS-ing extensively while living for six months in Sweden and around Europe. In turn while in SG, I hosted extensively in my hostel to give awesome experiences to fellow travelers out there :) Now when I'm not traveling (yet), I will continue to CS and bring along and share what I've gained with others to you when we meet! :)

兴趣

Dancing (Contem ballet, salsa/bachatta, improv etc, wanna learn pole!), acroyoga, art and cultural performances, psychology, reading and serving the community.
Teaching fine arts to autistic students makes me appreciate how they view reality from a totally different angle! <3 Finding out about quirky & interesting facets of how people from different backgrounds think about issues, cook with them and chat over a simple meal. Nature. Nice parks/ cafés/ bars/ clubs. Finding hidden nooks and crannies in places familiar and unfamiliar.

Books: Pop psychology (e.g. Quirkology, Blink by Malcolm Gladwell), Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, Khaled Hosseni and Dan Brown's novels, Sidney Sheldon's novels, fictions that mix history and culture with it (E.g. those that recount the Great Plague, the Renaissance etc), The girl with the dragon tattoo series...
