Hello! My name is Miquella. I was born and raised just outside the Bay Area (California). I'm currently studying French and International Relations. I am passionate about human rights, humanitarian work, and francophone culture (definitely not just limited to France!).

My hobbies include photography, attempting to learn languages, being outdoors, exploring new cities, watching films, and drinking way too much coffee (seriously, I have a tattoo of a latte).

I am someone easily pleased and grateful so meeting new people and making new memories is what makes me the happiest. So I leave you with one of my favorite quotes: "Happiness is only real when shared".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to not only see new places, but to also meet new faces as I've learned that the most important thing about a place is not the place itself, but the people that shape it. I love being around people, learning from them and observing them, creating lifelong friendships. This is what makes traveling fulfilling.

I'd definitely be willing to immerse you in English (or French) as I feel that is the best way for anyone to learn a language. I could also take your portrait if you're not camera shy!
