I'm Mira, I'm half japanese and half taiwanese with a desire to travel and explore much like everyone using this site. I'm generally easy going and willing to adapt to circumstances and am looking forward to making friends around the world and seeing what life has to offer.

I'm in my first year at College at Colorado (Colorado College, original, I know) I'm not sure what I want to major in but i'm leaning towards geology and perhaps a minor in philosophy and history. I grew up in Hong Kong for the past 13 years of my life and i'm starting the next step in my tertiary (and perhaps beyond) education in America. I've only ever been to New York before coming to America and picked Colorado at a drop of a hat. So far its been amazing and I'm in love with the places and people I've met here. I've also managed to travel to a couple states in the South West from there which I've been told is the 'old heart' of the desert.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm on couchsurfing to check out unconventional ways of travelling around and meeting new people, I want to get to know the people and the culture of a place and I thought that couchsurfing would be the best way to do so! I come from a place thats very touristy so I've always loved to show people places that are 'off the well worn track' or places I find interesting as a reflection of my character and personality and hopefully people like that about me.
