A family traveling the world aboard a sailboat since 2012. We are Mira 40, Ivo 40, and Maya 13. Our boat is a 38 foot catamaran Fata Morgana. She is our home and our vehicle. We have solar panels for electricity and a watermaker to desalinate saltwater. We eat a lot of fish. We have sails and the wind is our only fuel. We don't need to spend much money to live an exciting off grid life, visiting some of the most beautiful places around the world on a shoestring budget. Sometimes we leave the boat at anchor and go exploring inland. We love to meet new people and learn about the country and cultures from the locals.
