And I was doing couchsurfing before that was called couchsurfing. I'm traveling all the time (doesn't matter, have I a working trip or weekend hangout) and I'd love returning to real people in a real house at the evening, not in a hotel imitation. I always prefer hippie squat to a five-star hotel. I think such connections make us more humans and this is the prevention of the black-and-white vision. I LOVE TO BE A TRAVELER: to be an expected guest, to share information and experiences, to prepare a real traditional food (even if it's sandwiches) and the most important thing - meet new PEOPLE, such different and such the same!
