My name is Miriam, I'm an Italian student. I was born and grew up in Monza, a City near of Milan in the north of Italy. I studied Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University of Milan and I'm currently living in Dijon, France, in order to attend my master degree in Touristic and cultural activities management! :)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting people. I think couchsurfing is a perfect way to know different cultures and places, it makes the travelling experience more amazing! Moreover, as a student, I don't have the possibility to spend much money and so it allows me to save money and stay more days on trip.

I really like discovering new cultures and feeling like a child every time I make new experiences. I try to take the more advantage I can every time someone shares his knowledge with me, I put it in my cultural luggage.
I love listen to music alone on the bank of the river near my house and spend time alone in nature. But on the contrary, I also love to do party with my friends and my room-mates (we do a lot of parties in our flat!)
Photography is my passion since I was a little girl and I took photos with my old Kanon.. I love observing and taking photos of landscapes, flowers and common people.

I like different genres of music but I love rock/hard rock and classical music since I was a little girl. My favorite film is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and my favorite books are Great Apes of Will Self and Halcyon of Gabriele D'Annunzio (I especially love the poem "La pioggia nel pineto")

In 2014 I've been at Besançon, France, as an Erasmus student. I've done a lot of amazing things, they are uncountable but I think that the most amazing thing I've done is doing rafting in South Italy throughout the cleft of a mountain and doing a road trips in the US from Colorado to California!
