Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

after some time traveling, i have settled in to a home. unfortunately right now i really can't have surfers. it's a small and quiet home with little traffic. however, if you were in town for an event related to any of the many plant medicine gatherings, biology, ecology...things of that nature...i would consider. that probably sounds a little wishy washy and maybe rude, but all i'm saying is that i want to support people in specific ways with specific paths. ya dig? either way, i am generally down to hang out, show people around, help find resources, meet other folk who may have a place for you to stay!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed many a couch, through this site and otherwise. my former partner and i lived in a giant house that came to be known as the couchsurfer hilton. as entropy would have it, the house fell apart--literally! quite the crazy year i would never take back (or live ever again!!) i am hoping to do some international couch surfing this year!

anything heartfelt. i like finding local bands wherever i may be, especially metal (many kinds), shoegaze, ambient, post-rock, folk, psychedelia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swam with sea turtles under a full moon, made it out of an abusive relationship with enough will to put myself back to together, 23586 exorcisms, phosphorecent plankton nights, woke up every day for 26 years.

i am a registered yoga instructor, and i enjoy sharing time in meditation/asana. also know a good deal about plants and books and stuff like that. i'd like to meet some apian and annelid fans.
