ABOUT ME

Love talking food, the social niceties of sharing a meal & the cultures which sustain my favourite cuisines. Most of my travel plans are inspired by food fantasies, & some of my best (& worst) memories are of edibles!

I love spending time with friends & family –seems a given but it's important to acknowledge the way people closest to us shape your experiences & ideas.

I like to chat, though am perhaps always a bit quieter than usual when meeting new people for the first time. I try to be a good listener, though am possibly too frank with opinions.

I like animals (the friendly ones), getting outside when the weather is fine, cinema, reading when I set time aside, lazing with tv I know is bad, & please always get me on the dancefloor. I don't prescribe to a religion but hope always to treat others as I would like to be treated – with respect, humanity & an overarching belief that people are good, life is great & there is always something positive to be found in the worst situations.
