ABOUT ME

At work you would describe me as sensible, organised, enthusiastic, sociable, but outside of work you would add the word "very" to the above!

I wake up happy almost everyday.. yes I'm one of those annoying people who can wake up at 5am and be as happy as if they'd had an 18 hour lay-in!!!

I don't like sitting around doing nothing, in fact I can't remember the last time I did nothing.. ok yes I was on a beach in Hawaii a few weeks ago... but hey I was in Hawaii so its allowed!!!

I've been travelling for 4 months now and have decided that I want to couch surf after hearing great reviews from all my friends.... so here I go!!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life without regrets.. so yes I quit a good job at the start of a global financial crisis to go travelling... do I regret this decision?? Not for one second!!!

Interests

I love hiking, biking and exploring locations with locals! I love reading and watching movies. The thing I miss most from home is a chatting with friends with a glass of wine over a slice of pizza!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Childhood classics (Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Star Wars, Superman), Action movies (Terminator, Bourne Trilogy, MI etc), Superhero movies... in particular X men, but I pretty much watch anything except horror movies!!

I love most music... old, new, rock, pop, dance, country, power ballads (oh yes I'm not afraid to admit to liking them!), etc

Books... I'll pretty much read any book given to me.. but if I'm not interested within 20 pages.. I pass it on. Life is too short for rubbish literature!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever seen has to be the Grand Canyon.. I was led from a car, with a paper bag over my head, to the edge of the canyon and told to take my bag off... to this day I don't think I've ever been speechless for so long since then!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok I'm a computer geek, so am more than happy to share my skills with others. If I can teach my Mum to send emails, scan, print and copy photos as well as book fights, then I can teach anyone else!!!
