Overview
About Me
Hey, I'm Mirhire (pronounced Mi-ri-lay). I grew up in a bunch of different places which is probably what set off the travel bug. I love meeting new people.
As a guest, I'm tidy and respectful - at least I like to think so! I am very proud of my coffee addiction, and I absolutely love eating good food (cooking too, actually).
I love to travel, I love meeting new people, and I love learning (trying anyway...) languages. My travel style is pretty laid-back - I'm more interested in wandering through local neighborhoods and finding hidden gems than checking off tourist spots. My best travel memories are usually the more impromptu ones which involve connecting with locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to connect with people who love exploring the world and meeting new people as much as I do! Yes, hotels are comfortable, but they don't match the experience of sharing stories over coffee with a local. I've found that some of my most memorable travel moments come from these unexpected connections. I'm hoping I'll be able to further that on Couchsurfing!
