One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love hiking and one of the nicest experiences I've made was on a hiking trip to the highest peak of the Iberian Peninsula (the Mulhacen). That night we slept in a small cabbage in the mountains. It was freaking cold, windy and it was snowing. But as we have been there in a group of very good friends it turned out to be a trip full of laughter and happiness. Our alarm rang in the middle of the night. We packed our stuff to arrive on the summit before the sunrise would set in. It wasn't too easy as the lack of oxygen had a noticeable impact on our condition. But the joy was even bigger when we arrived at the top of the mountains while the first rays of sun broke through the fog.
