Dear all, Miri here - I am currently studying a Master in Education in Vienna, Austria, after having spent the last years in four different countries. I'm quite busy with my studies, voluntary work, sports, meeting people, going to cultural events and escaping the city every now and then to breathe and rest. As my housing situation has not been neither stable nor comfortable for me throughout the last years, I haven't experienced hosting yet but was hosted by some amazing people I got to know through Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my voluntary service in France back in 2015/16, I was travelling a lot, often with and through Couchsurfing. The experiences I made were mostly wonderful, I met lovely people and learned a lot about myself. It's not exaggerated to say that back then, Couchsurfing has changed my very young vision of people around me and made me more positive and open-minded.

Interests

As most couchsurfers I like travelling, speaking foreign languages and getting to know other people. For me, there is nothing better than a good discussion with a person I like. I'm very interested in politics and any topic related to human beings and society. I also like doing different kind of sports, peferably outdoors - climbing, cycling, running, hiking, swimming, dancing, all of those, moving by body is a very basic and strong need I feel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my ability to communicate as I love speaking foreign languages and I'm happy to share (traveling) experiences, thoughts and visions on life. It's a pleasure for me to motivate others to go out and move, maybe leave the city and explore natural spaces.
