Hey,

I'm Miriam, 21 years old and I love traveling. Until March 2015 I will be in Australia and so far I really enjoy this country with all its places and people to explore and visit.
I just finished my farmwork to be back on the road now and I am looking forward to make the experiences that are coming up next. :)

As guest I am really respectful and tidy and open to meet new people and have funny times together. :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATED

A travelmate of mine told me about CS and the unique experiences she made by meeting so many gorgeous people. :)

I joined in here because I want to meet people from other countries and continents and see how they live 'cause the people make the difference between home and the life somewhere else.
And to visit a city in contact with locals can be a very different experience than to stay in a hostel (with loads of german backpackers ;) )

Another aspect I didn't see befor it happened to me is - even if your hosts does not 100% suit to you (what happens) you can still be lucky and find friends in the other surfers ! :))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Didn't host so far but I am really looking forward to it if anybody ever wants to stay at our tiny town. ;)

Surfed a couple of times now and was very lucky with amazing hosts. :))
Still grateful >This is what Couchsurfing is for<< with a girl from Asia. We had conversations about hours - about her and my culture, the things in common and the differences, we cooked each other typical meals from "home" and had the best time together ! <3

Music - I listen to and love nearly every kind of music - folk, pop, rock, dance, oldies ... No matter what :)

Movie - the movie I like best - so far - is Seven Pounds with Will Smith - just awesome !!

Books - I really enjoy reading, most times thriller and german classics

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The last three months I've been kangaroo-mommy for a 6 (now 9) months old baby and it was the most wonderful experience as I would have never come so close to a LIVING roo - in any case not such a small and beautiful one.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am pretty good in the citchen with sweet stuff and still good with non -sweets, so we could cook a nice meal; I just started learning to play the guitar during my farmstay and would love to have something to share about passion for photography and music.
