Hey, my name is Miriam. I’m from beautiful Augsburg in the south of Germany. Traveling around the world is my biggest passion. I take advantage of every single opportunity that occurs to discover new places. I'm very open minded and love meeting new people and learning about their lives, passions, dreams, fears... Also I’m very laid-back, positive and enjoy the small things in life. My friends would probably describe me as adventurous, spontaneous and a little bit crazy :-)
2018 I started working on cruise ships as it would allow me to combine travelling and working. Usually I’m working around 6 months and the rest of the year I’m backpacking around the world.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love meeting local people during my travels, so I can learn something about their lifestyle, culture and language. And they can learn something about my life. It's so nice to see how many interesting people are out there. Also I love having experiences that not any "regular tourist" would have. I simply like doing things that not everyone does. And: I want to clear up with prejudices about other countries and people.

Basically I love having a great time with nice people. Hanging out together, exploring new places, having great conversations, laughing, cooking together or eating out, listening to music...

I’m a big nature lover and enjoy being outdoors. Especially beaches, the ocean and mountains is what fascinates me. And I’m an absolute animal lover and therefore a veggie too. In 2015 I started surfing in Chile and ever since it became a big passion. I love combining traveling and surfing. If I can’t surf you’ll probably find me on some crazy hike. The views you get rewarded with are simply amazing!
